i dont know what i was expecting, but it hit me in the core this one. what makes me drawn to games where exploration is a key element to the narrative, it's just because i really enjoy seeing the characters perspective on a object and what feeling it inflicts on them. meanwhile playing this i noticed i dont quite do this in my life, things are just passing by and i find myself tired to even think about the simplest things. thank you so much for this game, i will remember to notice things more.

also the visuals and the music are so pretty, i love claymation and it fits very well in this game. looking foward to your next games, thanks!

the little things of this game, how they tell you where to go so subtly, how the claymations work, how the room slowly comes alive, how they capture the feeling of paranoia when out late and walking home. how the music add one instrument at a time and lets you hear the new one get added by muffling the ones before for a moment... it's all so perfect. nothing about it is sad but I was in tears over the true mastery of it all.

Wow... its super weird and calming... and real...

Cute experience, amazing visuals; love how everything in the room moves alongside the music. Thanks for this little pause !

Thanks for playing!

Beautiful game~ I really like how the hand-crafted visuals and growing score drive the experience, and how, despite the little imperfections or elements of discomfort in the space, everything knits together to create such a warm, grounding sense of home 🌿

Kalonica! I played Apartment a few years back, listened to that interview and made me see games as a way to describe emotion. It definitely had an aspect in me creating this game and the way I continue to make games. Love your stuff, thank you!

This is such a good game! It really makes you look around your room and perhaps ask 'Where did that come from?', 'Who made it?' or 'Who owned this before me?' It makes you think about everything you own and love and truly be grateful for your fortunes.

One of the best depictions of anxiety I've ever seen. I bought this game on steam and even though it's only 5-10 minutes long, it's worth way more than just $1 in my opinion.

really cool little experience; despite how short it was the heart put into it shines through very much. i loved the clayish art direction and the music a whole lot :-)

The game is truly outstanding.. Please continue creating things like this! I perceive great potential in your works. Well done!

this is a very neat little experience. the music was lovely too and really fit the game~!!

Spoilers

Wow, this was unexpected. I randomly downloaded this game after a bit of scrolling because it looked interesting. Turned out to be a greater work of art than I expected!

The suggestion to stop and notice the thoughts that go through your head is nice, but I think the main character's thoughts themselves have something about them.

Thoughts like the walls sometimes seeming cozy and sometimes confining. The self doubt about the obvious line in the rug where he started working on it himself, even though that it seems to be visible only to the character himself. The unfulfilled promises to his own younger self. Questions like "is this what growing up feels like?". Suddenly noticing the passing of time while examining the sneakers. Clinging to his friends and his uncles memory even though it causes him physical pain... something about these thoughts just feels distinctly... human I guess.

The art direction itself was great as well. I liked the unique visual artstyle as well as each of the objects in his room being represented as their own instrument in a beautiful song, like they each play their part in making this space what it is.  (This somewhat reminds me of Jacob Geller's Essay 'The Intimacy Of Everyday Objects', while writing lol).

Thank you for creating and sharing this work of art with us!

So cool you caught the little things, I super appreciate it! It means a lot. I'm gonna check out 'The Intimacy Of Everyday Objects' sounds interesting for sure

Life-changing.

I needed to have this experience, after years of being anxious and depressed, worrying more about when i stop breathing than about life itself and what's going on around me, so this is just what i needed. A break, a reminder to just breathe.

This goes into my all-time favorites.
